Send carater chain in serial port to 4 x20 lcd

HI !

For new personal devellopement ,I built one 4X20 lcd working on RS232 port com .

The device ,work on 19200 baud on com1.

In the site were I take the circuit board, they give me for testing the lcd circuit one soft .

It may explain ,we must start with the number of line ,the chain data ,and must finish with #$ at the end of caracter chain.

For exemple ,if I want to wrote on the line 1 : TEST

I must wrote on the lcd test software : 1 TEST #$
And "TEST" appear on my LCD display .

Here my Profilab circuit ,but nothing appear ...

Can you help me ,or send me one way

Why you didnt connect the send Input??????????????????????

Try this.

This is sending line number and text without any other characters between. If you need a Space between, take a $CONST and change $ADD to 3 Inputs.

Yes , I forgotten put the send comand, but it was just one timer generator .
I try use other fonction ,with octet input sending ,or using ascii convertor, but the builder of the hardware and software had created the µc for receive direct character sending ,

You don't know ,this post can help me so good in the continuity of my devellopement !

In past i test I/O hardware for relay or contact input not other .
