Sort and filter in Component-Panel

Beitrag von CD32Freak »

Hi,

I know this not a request forum, but I have a remark about the Component-Panel. It would be more productive if you could sort components by name. It would also help if you could filter a component, for example type "C" to filter all the capacitors. Thanks in advance.

Thanks a lot, cdhigh! Can you also make a filter for the components panel like I suggested above?

This project (https://github.com/cdhigh/sprintFilter) is simply about adding filtering functionality to the component panel.

The component panel is a list with all the components placed on the PCB. You've created a filter for the macro library, that is different, but I understand the confusion ;)
