I use Splan 7.0 with the latest update installed (10.11.2021).
When I use the long text box, if I type a text manually, everything is perfect.
If I use the same long text box but I paste a text (from the notepad for example), the text is not perfect on the screen: like if the letters were not entirely black: see the attached screen capture.
Any solution ?

Re: Problem with Text copy
Did you copy and paste the text as a picture?
It may be helpful if you upload your *.spl7 file here, so we can take a look at it.

Re: Problem with Text copy
No, I copied the text from a webpage.Did you copy and paste the text as a picture?
Then I tried to first paste it into the Notepad, saved it, (to be sure it is a .TXT format) then copied it from the Notepad, then pasted it into the long text area.
The problem is still the same.
Here is an example: see attachment. It may be helpful if you upload your *.spl7 file here, so we can take a look at it.
Re: Problem with Text copy
I can't see any real problem here.
The look on the screen may caused by the selected text font (Times New Roman).
Do you have checked the option "smooth Text" in the General-Options? This will activate a kind of antialiasing for small texts on the screen.

I have just check it: yes it is activated.Do you have checked the option "smooth Text" in the General-Options? This will activate a kind of antialiasing for small texts on the screen.
I have tried with another font, Arial for example, and the problem is the same. The look on the screen may caused by the selected text font (Times New Roman).
Well it looks like some letters are not entirely black, or like a text typed on a type writing machine with an old tape...I can't see any real problem here.
I have tried with the demo version of Splan 8.0 and this issue is not present: The text is perfect on the screen, with the same font and the same size... look the attachment.
Re: Problem with Text copy
I think this is only a problem of how the text will be displayed on your monitor. What if you are zooming in? I think the text will be looking better then. A monitor often has a quite small resolution (dpi), and so there are several techniques to display small text as well as possible on a monitor. One technique is the anti-aliasing. This anti-aliasing is better in sPlan 8.0 than in sPlan 7.0 and so the text may look better here. But remember, this is also a displaying-issue on your monitor and not a bug in sPlan or in your spl-file.

Re: Problem with Text copy
Thank you : I will probably upgrade to sPlan 8.0, as sPlan 7.0 is a bit old...
Thanks
