is it possible to use the windows snipping tool (windows+shift+s) for importing screen shots into splan? This is very efficient for adding connector pinouts, hydraulic connections, error tables etc. to the drawing.

Yes, just use the snipping tool and the screenshot will be copied to the Windows clipboard.
In sPlan you can use the PASTE command to import the screenshot from the clipboard.
