Hallo,

Maybe this is an option for future updates?
Another option I miss in Lochmaster is the ability to place objects and text outside the PCB.<br/>
I now solve this by enlarging the PCB and covering the additional space with white areas.

Text overline (Überstrich)
Is it possible to have a text-overline in text labels?

Nice gift for the little ones (with children's music and fairy tales) or for the elderly (a jukebox with music from the past).
You can also play your favorite music yourself.

555 Timer with Relay (for model railroad and...)
This circuit can be used to extend signals in time.
A small relay can thus switch lighting or other things that operate on low voltage on or off for a certain period of time.
I think this is useful in model railroading, but other applications are also possible.

Harry Porter's Relay Computer Clock
I was fascinated by Professor Harry Porter's relay computer: http://web.cecs.pdx.edu/~harry/Relay/
Since the whole computer is too complex and expensive, I started with a simplified version of the computer clock.

This is where I got the schematic.
Looks really nice with the colored transistors (I use nailpolish: it's cheap and there is no need to wash the brush)

F4 and CTRL-Z
Wouldn't it be nice to add the office function F4 (repeat the last operation) in a next update? It takes 5 mouse clicks, for example, to change the color of a connection. When many connections have to be changed of color and/or thickness , it takes a while. Multiple selection works too, but you alwa...

0.5 - 2048Hz 5VDC Pulse Generator
A digital pulse generator for testing digital circuits, especially digital clocks. Very useful combined with a 5VDC power supply. Update: Discarded "D3" from output while it gave interference at testing CMOS IC's, the output could pick up noise while it was low. A resistor (10k) to ground wil also s...

Re: Split does not "split" potential
I 'm sorry, it was my mistake.
The board I designed consisted of tracks and pads. I redesigned it with only pads at the ends and tracks with holes between them.
Everything is OK now. Even the smallest split will split the potentials now.
Regards, Wilfried Vermeire.

Split does not "split" potential
I just noticed that using split has no effect on the potential of a copper-strip.
Making the standard split a bit wider on one side does the trick.

SG90 Micro Servo 9g controller with NE555
I found the original schematic here: https://model-railroad-hobbyist.com/node/26088?page=2
It works very well with the small SG90 servomotor, I suppose it works with any 5V servomotor.
The servomotor can move to two adjustable positions with a max. angle of rotation of approx. 90 °

Small, cheap and easy to build. Everybody should have one ;) (If you have a dozen or so remote controles, like me) The photo transistor is connected the wrong way, according to the original schematic, but it does not work connected the "right" way. Perhaps the Chinese put the notch in the wrong plac...

Re: Magnet Polarity Tester
Bernd, You are absolutely right about the latching outputs. You can avoid this by using two 3141 Hall sensors next to each other, one with the text in front and the other with the other side in front (the front detects one pole, the back the other). If you are in a hurry to get a APX9141, I can send...

A very simple but very useful magnet tester.
A North-pole in front of the APX9141 makes the red LED light up
A South-pole makes the green LED light up.
I bought the APX9141 very cheap on ebay (about 4€ for 10 pieces).

The best controller I have made (up to now). It's based on the schematic from Ron Hoffman: https://www.gadgetronicx.com/diy-model-train-controller-project/ I implemented the rotary/guitar-switch as used in an other controller to get a more realistic feel. 14-01-2020: Schematic is revised for 12VDC o...
