More than 4 Layers in Sprint Layout ?

Hi,

I know that Sprint Layout is able to manage 4 Layers (C1, I1, I2, C2), but for a complex project using a FPGA I need to have 6 layers.

Is it possible to have 6 layers in Sprint Layout, and if yes, how to proceed ?

thank you,

No sorry, the current version 6.0 can only handle 4 copper layers.
The new version 7.0 (coming next year) will handle up to 8 copper layers.

2027 will be a wonderful year ! :D

SprintLayout is the absolute best PCB software in my opinion: the simplest (no need to have a schematic to start a PCB design), most intuitive and very efficient.
The SprintFont plugin is a great step forward (particularly because if its Kicad Footprint import feature).

I hope that you will extend the "recently open files" from 4 (actually SL proposes only the 4 last files) to 10 ... or more.

Is there a topic for the SL7.0 request features ?

Congratulations for this wonderful software.

No, there is no topic for that.
We will publish all new information, as well as the first demo (if available), here on our forum.
