Hello,

I am looking for the TSSOP-28 makro (for a Crystal CS8416 integrated circuit), but more generally a collection of TSSOP footprints would be appreciated !

I am sure that other persons before me have already done these footprints..

Do you know where I could find them ?

Nobody has TSSOP ready to use Makros ?

I don't have a macro for that, but the footprint should be available in the datasheet. Then you can use the "footprint assistent" / "macro assistent" (don't know the exact name of the function in english; you find it in the upper menu under "extras"). With the assistent you make the smd footprint. After that, you just have to make a rectangle on the silkscreen layer with the outline dimensions (use a small grid, like 0,1mm). Mark both the smd pads (grouped) and the rectangle and center them horizontally and vertically ("align" function). Add a marking for pin 1, group everything, make it a macro (context menu) ans you're done.

If the datasheet of the particular part doesn't have a footprint, just use another part with the same footprint (search on digikey/mouser/... in "ICs" and filter by package) and look in it's datasheet.
