Future Splan 8 update: Full Path+Name

Hi,

I use sPlan 8.0 and I suggest an improvement that is probably easy to implement in a future update:

I would like to have " Copy full Path+Name" function from the Edit Menu, in order to quickly paste it in a Text field of the schematic: this helps to find the file when we just have the printout.

This would be similar to what already exists in Notepad++.

By the way, this would benefit to Sprint Layout too...

May be you can use the following functions in a text box:<FILEPATH><FILENAME>?
These are two fixed variables (<FILEPATH>, <FILENAME>) and you will find them under the button 'insert fixed variable'. You can write them one after another without any space.

But it will be very beneficial, if you can choose at the insertion between the real words of the text box (e.g. "<FILEPATH><FILENAME>") or the content of the fixed variables (e.g. "D:\sPlan\projects\filename.spl8").

I am also looking for a similar function with Sprint Layout, in order too have the full "Pathname+Filepath" close to the PCB design: do you know a similar solution on Sprint Layout ??

I do not have Sprint Layout. So, I can't help you with this program. But did you start a thread in the part of the forum for Sprint Layout with this question?
