An analog model train speed controller for automatic (analog) train traffic and as a stand-alone speed controller.
The schematic is taken from the book: "Elektronische modelbaanbesturing" by P. De Bra (publisher Elektuur/Elektor).
To use this controller you need the "Triangle wave generator".

The CV output must be fed into an VCO and/or an VCA, it produces voltages, not sound.

The ZD153A smoke exhaust fan makes quite a lot of noise. With this speed control the efficiency decreases a bit, but the noise is reduced considerably.
Caution 230V mains voltage, life-threatening!
